For some reason Varsity Burger's pancakes are tasting particularly delicious today. The top pancake is about ¾” thick, it's quite nice. Last time I had them (which was a day I never slept but did not write an TIC entry) they tasted kind of... leafy. It was pretty nasty. Anyways, I'm getting ahead of myself. Lemme back up a bit. I suppose the appropriate place to begin would be to explain why I failed to slumber.&nb

Like most nights in which one fails to sleep, one does not usually approach the evening as though they expect such a failure. Tonight happened to be one such night. The night started off fairly normal in most respects: had some carne asada for dinner, watched House, played with the kittens, had a nice long talk with the apple-of-my-eye, and spent roughly four hours braiding my hair so I wouldn't have to fuss with it over the next several days or so.
